Side Quests
Volunteer and Community Support Work
Working with Community Living was an eye-opening journey. Supporting individuals with diverse needs taught me the value of patience, empathy, and the power of inclusion.
Globe-trotting and SCUBA-diving
Travel has always been my ultimate source of inspiration. From trekking through bustling markets to plunging into the depths of the open ocean, every adventure feeds my curiosity. Recently, SCUBA diving has added a new dimension to my travels, like gliding alongside manta rays in Nusa Penida or navigating underwater pinnacles in Thailand. These moments remind me of the value of exploration—whether it’s in the world, or in design.
Food, culinary arts and Ramen
During a stint living in Vancouver I worked as a dishwasher, then cook, then chef at a local ramen shop. This job was much more than a job—it was an immersion into Japanese culinary tradition. I developed a keen eye for detail, a love for experimentation, and a deep respect for craftsmanship that parallels my design work today.
